The Floating Cinema

Part of an installation by Studio Weave & Somewhere.

Design, fabrication & installation of seating on a barge travelling around East London during the summer as a mobile cinema & projector.

Fold down seats made with salvaged oak table tops are cantilevered off the barge structure. Hinged backs open up to reveal storage for cushions & a panel which clip on to angle the viewer towards the projection screen during film showings.
